About Us
Over the past 12 years, we have had many new puppy owners visit us at our facility. We feel you have the need and the right to know where your puppy got his start from. You are welcome to visit us to determine if we have that "JUST RIGHT" puppy you have been looking for.
A puppy you get from us would have had a full schedule of shots and wormings required for the age. A full health record will be given to you to indicate the dates of the wormings and the vaccinations given. We are a firm believer in providing the most healthy puppy possible. This is quite evident in the efforts we make to assure the clean environment needed for such a good start in life. A puppy must be 5 pounds and 8 weeks old before going to his new home.
We use Our Local Kennel Club, as our main registry for our puppies. We have found them to be the most responsive registry we have dealt with and very respectful of the breeder's needs along with registration of the puppy to the new owner's name. All our puppies originate from our kennel. We DO NOT buy and resell other breeders pups. We own all the mothers and fathers of the puppies we offer you. They are available for your inspection at your request. In addition, we do not provide outside breeding services to others. This is done to maintain the integrity of our own dogs and to protect us and you from health issues surrounding such practices.
The vast majority of our puppies find themselves relocating to the Central Iowa area. However, we have buyers from all over the state, both coasts, and have even shipped puppies into Alaska. If shipping is an issue for you to obtain your new friend, we will work diligently to make arrangements to see this through. No problems have been encountered flying our puppies out. A 50% deposit will reserve a puppy, but the balance needs to be paid before the puppy will be released or shipped. Once a deposit is received, the puppy is taken off the available site making it unavailable to sell to anyone else, therefore, the deposit is non-refundable. The deposit is applied to the price of the puppy. By purchasing or placing a deposit, the buyer agrees to the contract of Circle J Kennels.
Shipping costs only apply to out-of-state buyers that require air travel. No shipping costs apply when purchasing personally from our facility.
We do not have set hours but show by appointment only. Please call ahead to setup an appointment to visit and select a puppy.
